I don't want to trade him. At least not yet. His stock can't get much lower & if he turns it around they can get more back for him or keep him.

if it lands us a top line winger in a trade I'm all for moving both Schenn's haven't seen much from both of them so far in their young careers

his value is at an all time low , he played ok with lauridsen last season .. I think part of it is they seam to have made him change his style he doesn't hit even as much as he used to

Another epic fail on Homer's part. He showed no patience with JVR whatsoever and shipped him out before he had a chance to blossom. I know we needed blueline help, but he sold JVR 50 cents on the dollar. While I was intrigued with L Schenn's potential, he's vastly underachieved. He's a slightly more skilled version of Hal Gill. Homer really needs to be shown the door.

I don't miss JVR at all. Luke Schenn is still developing & is only 24. Given that we aren't great this season I'd say wait until near the deadline to decide what we're going to do with him. If you hated the trade when JVR was shipped out then you'd really hate trading Schenn now. His value is too low now.

LOL yeah.....JVR was saying he still had concussion symptoms & then was bragging about his Audi A3 on twitter.
BTW Dreger is reporting that the Flyers turned down 2 second rounders for Coburn at the draft. I'm glad they did....that deal sucks.

not upset to see JVR gone at all. in fact I don't think he wanted any part of staying here and don't think he develops here. both Schenn's have putback to back great games together.with Brayden it's hard for me to tell if he's developing into a solid player or if it's more of a product of being paired on a line with someone as talented as Vinny? either way I'm happy to see their play imorvoe. and yeah, as much as we rag on the play of Coburn at times he's been very steady of late and our D would be in a world of hurt without him on the team right now. 2 second round picks aren't enough.
