Normally, I hate this break this early in the season that they seem to have every year. But I welcome it now for 2 reasons.....1, I already need a break from this team. 2, they clearly need the time to get some solid practices with Berube's system under their belt & possibly to move a few guys out of here *COUGHCOBURNCOUGH*. I really hope we don't read about how they're in Florida on a "team bonding" trip or some bullshit like that. Get to the rink early, work on your game, lots of positive vibes. They've already been on vacation long enough

Well, they did a little team bonding at the Eagles game From reading different articles, Berube is skating the hell out of them. If they do not come away with a win on Thursday AND score more than 2 goals, time for a trade!!!!!

Yeah I read that. Naturally blown out of proportion by Crossing Broad.

Per Meltzer, these were the line combos at practice, but Lecavalier and Hartnell are supposed to not be playing Thursday
Lecavalier - Giroux - Raffl McGinn - B. Schenn - Voracek Read - Couturier - Simmonds Hall - Talbot - Rinaldo Hartnell - Newbury - Rosehill
Timonen - Gustafsson Grossmann - Coburn Streit - L. Schenn Gill - Meszaros

I actually like those new lines a lot. McGinn deseerves more ice time then both Simmonds and when back Hartnell. in past years I would be bouncing off the walls and bored with this kind of delay, with how they are playing and art jobs I really do welcome it and really can't say I miss watching them play....although I do enjoy watching Mason play in net, what a breath of fresh air this kid has been in goal for us. he deserves much better support.

Yup....if there was ever a time they needed a long break this was it.

Looks like Lecavalier has been upgraded to day to day so he may play against the Rangers tomorrow night. Maybe he can get Giroux on track.
