Some trades sure. I think most teams feels that way.
I'm still happy with Luke Schenn & thought the kid did great. JVR is what he is, great some nights....invisible the next 4.
I'd never turn back the clock on the Carter/Richards trades. Voracek looks almost as good as Carter

Oh, I agree! I def don't think it's just the Flyers who have those "take back" moments. I'd say the one I regret most is Bob. I definitely don't have hard feelings about Richards or Carter....it was the right thing for sure.

I have no issues with the Carter & Richards trades. To me, those two needed a change of scenery to get their act together. I agree with Flyersgirl that dumping Bob was a bit premature, but who knows, maybe Mason can really turn into something playing here. Agree with Tags on JVR. The initial review was the Leafs had won the trade because of how well JVR started but when you look at the entire season, Schenn really came on strong and I think playing with Kimmo helped him a lot. The worst trade was Sharpe, but that was good old Clarkie and Hitchcock.

Voracek looks almost as good as Carter? IMO Voracek this past season became a better player than Carter, more complete player who can play in any situation and is a solid passer.if we could look back on any trade and second guess it would be Bob, but with acquiring Mason now it's sort of a wash to me. Mason has one of the best glove hands I've seen on a Flyer goalie in years.

I say that because Jake needs to keep doing it. I see no reason why he won't, but Carter has been at least a consistent goal scorer his whole career. Jake has the goods to be better for sure. Better skater, better passer & his shot is nearly as accurate.
