Now that Razor & Mason are going to battle it out for #1, what other moves would you like to see? I guess the lines will look like this:
Hartnell-Giroux-Jake Schenn-LeCav-Simmonds Read-Cooter-McGinn? Rosehill-Talbot-Rinaldo/Hall/Laughton
Kimmo-Schenn Streit-Coburn Mez-Grossmann Gus
I still think one of Mez, Coburn or Grossmann aren't here come opening day. Hoping it's Mez.....slide Gus or Lauridsen in his spot & evaluate near the deadline.
Unless they're getting one back in a trade I think their set at forward

I was just on Capgeek trying to figure out this season's cap hit as of now.
When I add all of the forwards and I do not include Scott Laughton's number of $1,106,667, the forwards add up to $30,385,000
Adding the D#'s, not including Pronger and not sure what Gus will resign at, and excluding Gervais, I get a number of 26,850,000.
The goalies # is at $3,150,000.
That puts the team at $60,385,000.
They can still resign Gagne at a number of no more than $2.5/yr. Also Gus and Lauridsen have to be factored in as well.
It will still be helpful to move some salary. I would really prefer that we keep Coburn since he is one our better D man. It would either be Mes or Gus.

I would figure out top 7 D would be in no particular order: Kimmo, Coburn, Gus, Grossman, Schenn, Streit, & Mes (if healthy) Those who most likely are playing for the Phantoms unless they earn a spot - Gervais, Bourdon, Lauridsen, & Manning.
Gervais most likely will be put on waivers and sent down or snatched by another team.
Our D could look something like this:
Kimmo - Schenn Coburn - Grossman Streit - Gus/Mes
I think we all expect someone to get traded before the season starts. I just hope Homer doesn't give it away which may end up happening like when Gagne went to Tampa for garbage.
With all of the forwards we have, I also think someone else may get moved here as well.
Our top forwards, again in no order: Giroux, Hartnell, Lecavlier, Simmonds, Couturier, B Schenn, Voracek, Read Talbot, Rinaldo, Hall, Rosehill
Those potentially fighting for a spot - Laughton, Petr Straka, & Tye McGinn Wildcard - Gagne (will he be resigned)
Perhaps Homer can look to put together a package to offer St Louis for the rights to Alex Pietrangelo.

Piertangelo isn't going anywhere. the Blues dumped a damn good player in Perron today, pretty much a salary dump to resign Piertangelo. at this point I'm pretty content with the roster they have. Laughton needs to be on this club, wouldn't be against dumping Talbot, and still think 2 of Coburn,Mez, and Grossmann need to go. I would like to see someone like Mason Raymond brought in for the 3rd. line and PK.
