No need for a separate thread for each series.
goes down harder than a sack of potatoes dropped from a plane, Pens get an OT PP & win. Downside, Pens score 3 PP goals without Neal. Upside, 2nd game in a row the Pens can't hold a lead. They won't get out of round 2 if they don't get their shit together.
Caps are up 2-0 on the NYR, my pre season pick to come out of the East.
Sens lump up Montreal, lead series 2-1
Boston & Toronto tied at 1-1. JVR scored for TO
West-
Sharks up 3-0 on Vancouver
Hawks up 2-1 on Minny
St. Louis up 2-1 on LA...Kings have 3 goals in 3 games
Ducks up 2-1 on Detroit

Tonight's games:
Boston at Toronto, first home playoff game for TO since game 6 in 04 when JR Ended their season.
Caps at NY, looking to go up 3-0. NY looks like they lost a ton of grit when they lost Dubinsky, Prust & Anisimov
Ducks @ Detroit
STL at LA

I wanted to comment on last night's game 7's.
WOW is there ever a team in NHL history that chokes as much as the Caps do in game seven's. I thought the Flyers had a problem with choking, but I think the Caps have them beat. To not only lose to a lower seed at home in game 7, but to get blown out is just inexcusable. That isn't the first time it's happened either. That team quit after the second goal was scored. The Erat/Forsberg trade was ridiculous. Trading a blue chipper like Forsberg for a solid, but unspectacular player like Erat is just not a good idea. It smacks of desperation. I think the Caps GM needs to be dismissed.
Leafs did a huge choke job of their own, but what else is new? At least they could blame youth and inexperience on their choking. Sucks that the B's took advantage of that.

I love that Boston won. I despise Lupul & JVR.

The only reason I wanted Boston to win is because I feel they are probably the only team that can defeat the Pens right now, because I really do not want to see Shittsburgh back in the finals and all of the Malkin love fest that will follow.....

B's hit 4 posts, still manage to win in OT. Justice.
Sharks blow a 3-2 lead with under 2 minutes left & lost 4-3 in regulation.

Glad the Sens won. It was a typical game where Matt Cook magically got away with a blatant high stick as he swatted at the puck but got all face on a Sens player then Shittsburgh ends up with PP with under 2 minutes in the regulation. Love the fact that the Sens scored a shortie to forece the OT. It amazes me that the Pens always seem to end up with a PP late in a game
